We prepare the work area and use sheets to protect floors, nearby furniture, and surrounding surfaces, then check for any obvious issues (loose plaster, moisture staining, previous poor repairs). 

We remove the damaged plaster cleanly back to a solid edge, creating a neat opening that’s ready for a strong patch (not a “fill-over” that cracks later). 

If the damaged section is large, we fit internal timber supports so the patch is properly supported and doesn’t flex (flex in plaster sheets will result in plaster cracks).

We cut a new plaster section to size, fit it neatly, and fix it in place so it sits flush with the existing wall. 

 We apply joint tape and compound in layers to seal the repair and blend it into the surrounding wall (this helps prevent cracking and visible join lines).

 Once dry, we sand the repair to a smooth finish and feather the edges for a clean, “ready-to-paint” result. 

If you like, we can colour match and paint the repaired area (or the full wall if needed) so the repair disappears into the existing finish.
